The challenge
CompuWorld Systems is an Egyptian IT solutions provider founded in 1996. It sells computers and IT equipment from brands like Dell, Lenovo and Schneider Electric, and offers installation, maintenance and IT infrastructure services. When I joined, I found that business clients brought in more revenue than individual buyers, and most B2B deals happened over email and through the customer service team.
My role
I joined in August 2024 to create the brand's content. I soon shifted part of the focus to the B2B side, where most of the revenue came from.
Strategy
Work on B2B and B2C in parallel, and give business buyers content that fits how they actually buy.
Execution
- Email content for business clients, since most B2B deals closed over email.
- Website fixes, like the request-a-quote form, plus refining the company profile content and writing technical articles.
- Social media content for business owners, companies and organizations, such as clinics and restaurants.
- Consumer campaigns, led by White Friday 2024.
Results
Sales grew about 110% during my time with the company.
What I learned
Find where the revenue really comes from, then build content around how those customers buy.
